9 am - 6 pm, Monday-Friday. Extra hours are available if desired by employee.
Description:
- Applicate should have good customer service and social skills. As the face of the daycare, it is imperative the receptionist is friendly and professional while interacting with parents in person and over the telephone.
- Active listening and clear speaking skills are needed regularly when dealing with both parents and children.
- Organization is an important skill needed to be efficient. This position requires that questions are answered and information procured in a timely manner.
- Being detail-oriented is a huge asset in this field to ensure all information is recorded and stored properly.
- Must be able to assist in classrooms while teachers take breaks, have discipline issues, etc.
- Have an open mind and be flexible to change as well as be a team player.
- Answer phone calls and make phone calls.
- Greet, assist and direct all parents, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.
- Must be able to operate a copy machine.
- Handle filing and data entry as requested.
- Assist teachers when needed.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
