Are you a confident and proactive individual, looking to start kick off your career in corporate reception? Look no further! LRS has just won another contract and we're hiring a receptionist role to work alongside the office manager, providing assistance and looking after the office visitors, meeting rooms and common spaces.
Our client is one of the world's largest independent commodities trading companies, and we will be looking after the reception and meeting rooms in their office just off Piccadilly.
As a receptionist, you will have a variety of tasks, including meet and greet, looking after meeting rooms, some administrative work, hospitality duties such as serving teas and coffee during meetings or ensuring the tea point or stationary cupboard is well stocked. Additionally, you will assist the office manager with ad hoc tasks. This is a diverse role with plenty of opportunities for learning. It's a great entry base for someone that wants to get into the corporate reception world.
What we're looking for:
We're specifically looking for candidates with good customer service, a friendly yet professional demeanor, proactive, and a strong work ethos. You don't need to have any prior experience in corporate reception, as we'll provide you with all the training you need. What's more important is that you're confident, proactive, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities:
- Client Care
- Reception Services is responsible for meet and greet and keeping the office standards at all times.
- Stand to greet all guests/ visitors, ensure eye contact is made within 10 feet of the reception desk.
- Offer tea and coffee to visitors
- Greet internal and external clients with a smile, acknowledging them promptly,
- Escort guests to meeting rooms where possible, ensuring smooth transitions between team members at each stage of their journey.
- Aim to provide an update to any visitors waiting for verification.
- Proactively deal with enquiries and requests in person, via the telephone or email, in a timely and professional manner
- Continually develop client knowledge and share that information with the team
- Maintain the necessary awareness of building facilities to advise and direct guests appropriately
- Answer calls are per the required standards and deliver messages in a timely manner
- Assist with any ad hoc duties as required
- Communicate effectively with peers and the management team, displaying accuracy and attention to detail both in verbal and written communication
- Maintain a strong awareness of business activity and communicate all updates with your team members.
- Liaise with office employees to ensure the smooth arrival of the host’s client.
- Communicate to your Line Manager about any new / on-going / potential issues and complaints so that they are addressed accordingly. Follow this up promptly with a detailed email
- Communicate effectively with all other contactor team client requirements
- Provide assistance according to business needs e.g. lunch cover annual leave cover etc
- Support the training of new team members and complete buddy checklists accordingly
- Take part in the cross-training program which covers all areas of the department, when available

- Maintain a professional, polite and considerate manner at all times
- Adhere to presentation standards as per the dress policy.
