Kernow Farm & Equine – Full Time Receptionist/ Administrator

The position is 40 hours / 5 days per week, 8.30am-5.30pm with the addition of 1:4 Saturday shifts. Salary for the position is National Living/Minimum Wage

The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for booking in visits, taking down orders and doing dispenses, stock control, taking payments, dealing with general enquiries as well as other general administration tasks. This post is based at our premises on Woods Browning Industrial Estate, Bodmin. This role will work alongside 4 other receptionists, so the ability to work with others is essential. We currently have a small but busy admin team and we are looking for someone who is hard working and reliable, with a strong sense of team spirit and a good sense of humour!

Essential skills required for this role include:

- Excellent computer skills and ability to navigate different management systems
- Excellent administration and data handling
- Attention to detail
- Being able to work under pressure
- Good customer service/communication skills
- Must be able to follow direction as well as work independently
- Experience within the veterinary or equine sector

- Good geographical knowledge of Mid-Cornwall

Desirable Skills required for the role:

- SQP qualification
