We are actively recruiting for a Receptionist/Mail Center Technician to join the InterWest Team in our Administration Department! The Receptionist/Mail Center Technician acts as the initial point of contact for visitors and callers, creates a positive professional impression on behalf of InterWest by providing exceptional customer service, connects the client or caller to the proper destination in a timely efficient manner, and provides mailroom, facilities, and other administrative office support.
This position will be based in our Sacramento office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential duties and responsibilities for the position include the items listed below. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
- Warmly greet persons entering the office, determines nature and purpose of visit, and directs them to the appropriate individual.
- Operate the telephone console to answer, screen or forward calls, provide information, take message, or schedule appointments.
- Maintain general meeting rooms calendars and schedules.
- Maintain appearance of the front desk area.
- Order food for meetings as requested.
- Place orders for business cards as requested.
- Perform administrative support tasks such as data entry projects.
- Package incoming print support jobs in binders, add postage, and put into outgoing mail.
Assist the mail center personnel with duties such as:
- Identify correct client/policy related to mail.
- Scan incoming mail to distribute to correct persons.
- Collect mail from outgoing mail bins.
- Ship outgoing mail via the postal service and FedEx.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Experience: Three to six months related experience in an office environment preferred but not required.
Starting compensation for this specific role (all salary decisions are based on experience, skills, education, training, certifications and licenses, book of business assigned, and geographical location):
$19.49 - $23.07
