Night Receptionist - The Trafalgar St. James

£25,500 per annum + Service Charge

Trafalgar St. James, we have a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual who is looking to progress their career as a Night Manager in lifestyle and luxury hotels.

Part of Crimson Hotels, The Trafalgar St. James, Curio Collection by Hilton is a 5 Star hotel with 131 bedrooms including 3 signature suites and a number of venues including our unique Rooftop bar, lauded as one of the best in the city.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a passionate and proficient Night Receptionist to join the night team at The Trafalgar St. James.

The Night Receptionist will be the first member of the team to meet our guests as they arrive, so delivering an elevated level of attention to detail, whilst building a positive guest experience is imperative.

You will also - but not be limited to:

• Manage the reception desk with any late check-ins and any queries over the phone;
• Assist with amenities and any other requests of guests;
• Reporting and handing over any issues that may have occured during the night shift to the Night / Duty Manager;
• Ensure all telephone calls are answered efficiently and professionally;
• Be fully conversant with the facilities, services and special promotions offered by the hotel and to pass this information on to the guest whenever possible to maximise hotel sales;
• To have a full working knowledge of the Hilton Honours program and its benefits – taking every opportunity to enroll new members;

Nothing is too much for our Night Receptionists, who will be on hand to help our guests in any way required during their visit; whether that’s booking special occasion arrangements, a dinner reservation, or getting around London.

Key Requirements

Our successful Night Receptionist will be smart, presentable, and passionate about guest experience. Project a charming personality, who is capable of building a great rapport with all our guests and colleagues. You will possess strong organisational and computer skills, whilst displaying a hands-on approach. Previous experience within the hotel industry is desirable.

We are looking for a passionate candidate, who has a proven track record in delivering above and beyond and is looking to develop a career within our Lifestyle Luxury Hotel. Experience with OnQ is also desired.

Flexibility is required as shifts might vary as per business requirements, the set shift patterns from 22:30 pm to 7.30 am, on any 5 days out of 7, including weekends
