As part of the Reception Team you will be based in the Childrens reception but will also have the opportunity to work in the other receptions in the building to cover any Annual Leave and sickness.

We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated and work to high personal standards, paying attention to detail and maintaining confidentiality.

Ideally you will be someone who likes to work in an environment of constant change and can readily adapt to changing work priorities with the ability to multi-task whilst at the same time remaining calm and professional with both external clients and service users.

Previous experience within Administration is essential in addition to a sound knowledge of Microsoft packages, excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.

HPFT places great emphasis on providing the highest standard of customer service to our services users, carers and visitors. The post holder must be able to demonstrate they possess excellent customer service skills incorporating the Trusts values when carrying out their duties.

You may be provided with a uniform which must be worn when on duty in line with the dress Code and Uniform (Work wear) Policy

The Receptionist offers a comprehensive service within a busy and often demanding environment so candidates will need to be confident and adaptable to change.

Duties will include: Answering the telephone and transferring calls to various departments where appropriate. Welcoming Service Users, Carers, Professionals and Visitors to the Site and dealing with enquiries on the phone or face to face. Checking ID’s and handing out security alarms and keys for which training will be given.

Reporting maintenance and cleaning issues to the helpdesk and keeping accurate and up to date maintenance logs.

You will also act as a Fire Warden and be responsible for keeping the Reception area clean, tidy and organised.

Other duties would include: Dealing with any deliveries, as well as booking all Clinical rooms and meeting rooms for the Clinical Staff working in the building.

You will work closely with other members of the Reception Team to ensure a smooth and effective Reception Service.

Full training and a uniform will be provided.
