Ferguson is seeking a Lead Receptionist to join our team! This position is responsible for a range of diverse administrative and staff functions including reception, mailroom services, administrative support services and limited scope project management. This position will be encouraged to participate in projects with members of other teams, working closely with HR, Communications, Operations, IT, and Facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly review of team calls for quality assurance and training
- Data entry of monthly metrics and results to share with individual team members
- Conduct bi-annual performance checkpoint reviews
- Interview candidates for concierge team
- Manage HR staffing needs and Workday functions
- Coordinate team schedule for start/end time and vacations for coverage
- Answer and transfer incoming calls pleasantly and professionally
- Direct calls to the appropriate associate or department, take a message or transfer to the appropriate associate’s voicemail when necessary
- Communicate with external equipment suppliers (for example, vendors for printer/copiers, coffee machines, etc.) to arrange equipment service and repair
- Help maintain workplace security by issuing visitor badges and access cards as necessary and maintaining visitor management system
- Maintains a safe, clean, and professional lobby and reception area
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in similar positions is preferred
- Possess the minimum clerical skills (basic typing and computer skills)
- Ability to coach, develop, and provide feedback to direct reports of the concierge team
- Ability to prioritize and organize team responsibilities
- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
- Be customer service minded
- Ability to handle difficult customers
- Prior experience with a multi-line phone system
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Mon - Fri

Pay Range:
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
