Receptionist
Immediate start – Receptionist
Europoint Centre is a multi-tenanted office building providing modern office facilities in the heart of Central London.
We need someone with a friendly personality and a can-do attitude who is willing to learn, and able to handle responsibility.
The Receptionist at Europoint Centre is the first point of contact for our tenants and visitors. You will also coordinate the front-desk activities and provide administrative support to the Building Manager and Reception Supervisor.
To be successful in this role at Europoint Centre you should have the ability to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
Your duties and responsibilities are to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for all tenants and visitors.
Important – Please only apply for this position if you can work flexible hours/rota and can start immediately. Europoint Centre Reception is open Monday to Friday, from 7.30 AM to 6.30 PM.
Shifts for the role are two days 9am-5pm and three days 10:30 am-6:30pm. Monday to Friday.
Main Responsibilities
· Greet and welcome tenants and visitors as soon as they enter the building
· Direct/announce visitors to the appropriate office · Answer and forward incoming phone calls
· Ensure the Reception area is always kept in a tidy and presentable manner
· Receiving, sorting, and distributing Royal Mail and Courier deliveries Deal with tenant requests, issues, or complaints on a daily basis
· Meeting Rooms reservation and set up
· Liaising with the maintenance, cleaning and security teams, suppliers, and contractors
· Ensure that the environment at Europoint Centre is always kept to an excellent standard of cleanliness
· Together with the building manager & Reception supervisor you will also assist with Health and safety and building Fire evacuations
· Ordering and keeping stock of tenants’ offices keys
· Ensuring building entry and exit points are always secure
· Keeping updated records
· Performing other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, typing and handling financial procedures such as purchase orders, end of month invoices
Requirements and skills
· Excellent customer service skills, being a people person
· Ability to work well in a team
· Ideally minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
· Professional attitude and appearance
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
· Solid written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
· Ability to prioritize tasks
· Excellent organizational skills
· Good telephone manner
Other details
· Salary Circa £24,000 per year, subject to experience
· 20 days holiday + bank holidays
· Bicycle parking facilities in the building
