We are an exciting opportunity to work as a Receptionist to be based in our Support Centre in Leicester, Syston. As a receptionist you will ensure the successful day to day operation and delivery of SSC Reception activities. The role is responsible for ensuring all processes and activities are carried out in a competent and efficient manner. Reporting to the People Services Lead within the People Services Team, this role will be continuously looking at ways to offer visitors to SSC that extra special warm welcome as well as carrying out all related reception activity.
The role is working 12:30pm - 5:30pm at £10.50 per hour. You will be available immediately and full training will be provided.
Ensure Timely Delivery of all Reception Processes & Activity you will need to:
- Act as he face of Dunelm to all visitors to SSC, offering a welcoming and efficient first impression.
- Offering support and guidance for visitor sign in where required & signposting around the building where necessary
- Assisting with deliveries to the building where necessary
- Act as the ears and eyes to the buildings main entrance and raising any security issues as required, locking unlocking the entrance as required
- Monitor the general email enquiries email inbox and deal with queries appropriately
- Monitor post and arrange franking of mail as appropriate
- Assisting with the production and distribution of colleague store discount cards
- Assist with the production and distribution of colleague long service awards
- Perform periodic building walk arounds and flag any potential issues to the Facilities Department accordingly
- Stationery ordering and monitoring of central building stationery supply
- Day to day management of the sites Pod Point charging stations and escalating issues as required
- Assisting with People Services administration processes as required
- Assisting with the colleague eye-care voucher scheme administration
- Other general administrative duties as and when required
Skills / behaviours required:
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written
- Aptitude for using computerised systems such as Outlook, Word, Excel etc
- Ability to organise/prioritise work for self and others and work under tight timescales and pressure as would be expected in a fast paced environment
