Our Dick Lovett Melksham dealerships are looking to appoint a Reception Supervisor to oversee the Reception teams across Jaguar Land Rover, BMW and MINI, and ensure that we are delivering a memorable customer experience during every visit. This includes training, reviews, coaching and scheduling to ensure that the team deliver a great service.
You will assist a variety of customers who will be enquiring in reference to Sales, Service and Parts. This role will work across the BMW, MINI and Jaguar Land Rover dealerships, so it is a great opportunity to develop your leadership skills with a range of brands and a team of 10 people.
Key Responsibilities:
- To oversee the Reception teams across the two sites in Melksham with support from the Group Reception Manager.
- To ensure the team provide a friendly and helpful reception experience at all times and uphold standards befitting of both Dick Lovett and the brands.
- In this role, you will also be operational and answer the telephone politely and efficiently to deal with enquiries, take messages or redirect calls as appropriate. When on the front desk you will also greet customers, notify the Sales, Service or Parts departments of their arrival, and maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times.
- Plan and manage administrative task related to the customer experience and oversee housekeeping and stock ordering.
- Boardroom diary management. Preparing meeting rooms – providing refreshments/lunches where required.
- Take responsibility for the Reception team members’ development through coaching the team, conducting reviews, driving performance and ensuring training is carried out.
Essential Criteria:
- The successful candidate will ideally have at least three years of experience of supervisory experience or managing a team in a customer facing role.
- Experience of working in reception or hospitality with an understanding of delivering a first class experience to customers.
- Experience of operating a busy switchboard with excellent telephony skills.
