Job description
Nature of Duties:
The nature of the duties is to greet all patients in a courteous and polite manner, message the registration department of the patient’s arrival, and maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times. As members of a professional and friendly team, each representative will cooperate with co-workers, physicians, team leaders, and the administration of CIS. Help Desk Representatives will also maintain a high volume of communication with other departments and need to be familiar with the basic clinic functions and procedures.
Specific Duties:
- Greeting Patients
When patients arrive to the clinic for scheduled or non-scheduled appointments or service, the representative will acquire the patient’s name and date of birth (for identification purposes), ask the patient to have a seat in the appropriate waiting area, and then send an electronic message to the registration desk alerting them the patient has arrived.
- Misc. duties
Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
