RECEPTIONIST
ASEA is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our team. SUMMARY:
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Our receptionist's duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls while supporting the Associate Support Operations Team Lead with a variety of office management responsibilities.
To be successful as a receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should also be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position.
Ultimately, a receptionist's duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g., pens, forms, and brochures)
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
- Works with the Operations Team Lead on inventory of office supplies, ordering, and organization.
- Develop a thorough understanding of our core values and how they impact our day-to-day actions.
- Be an active participant in driving change and improvement in our department by sharing feedback, participating in Team Meetings, making suggestions, attending department meetings, etc.
- Maintains a comprehensive working knowledge of policies, procedures, products, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of administrative assistant / reception experience preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service.
- Experience with Direct Sales, MLM, or Network Marketing industry strongly preferred.
- Strong business-related writing and communication skills.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills with great attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Be a team-oriented individual who is driven to assure that professionalism and quality work is completed.
- Ability to quickly learn new software and applications.
- Ability to solve problems.
- Able to work independently and collaborate in a group setting.
- Friendly, adaptable, dependable, and professional.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office, internet, and CRMs.
