Receptionist
Angels is the largest and most prestigious costume house in the world and is the gold standard of costuming in the entertainment industry.
Role
Reception provides a central point of contact for all enquiries (external and internal) and to direct them to the relevant individual or department. In addition, Reception is responsible for meeting and greeting costume designers as well as artists attending for fittings. The Receptionists are also responsible for the telephone system and maintaining security. This role is to work along-side one full time senior receptionist.
The successful candidate will become a key part of the team who will undertake a wide number of tasks that relate to areas including:
Switchboard
We operate a busy Mitel telephone system. Reception are responsible for directing calls to the relevant personnel/departments and for taking and passing on messages where necessary.
Visitors (Customers & Fittings)
Our Receptionists are the face of our company. All visitors are greeted personally as they enter the building and their names are logged along with the time of their arrival and the member of staff they are seeing.
Actors attend for fittings and need to be signed in quickly and dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
Transportation of Costumes/Post
Reception monitors the collection/dispatch of costumes from our Returns Department. They are also responsible for booking couriers/bikes/taxis and dealing with the relevant paperwork as a result.
Post for collection is prepared daily using the franking machine.
Reception Area
Managing reception (tidiness/cleanliness) and reporting maintenance issues where necessary. Other duties as may be required.
Key Skills
Enthusiasm, reliability and commitment are key requirements for this role together with:
· Solid telephonist/receptionist experience (at least two years)
· Good keyboard & computer skills
· Good communication and organisational skills
· Ability to work under pressure
· Professional and efficient manner
· Team player
· Good personality and sense of humour
Role is Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff are required to lateral flow test twice a week.
