Job description
- Deal with appointments, queries, requests for routine and urgent consultations, telephone consultations, house calls, ambulances, prescriptions etc. which may be made by patients in person, by telephone, by letter or electronically.
- Receive and assist patients during surgery.
- Follow written protocols, receiving and passing messages for doctors or nurses.
- Extracting, filing and scanning patient records, letters, results and other information.
- Be the first point of contact, assisting and trying to resolve any patient complaints or concerns.
Administration Duties:
- Staff will be allocated specific administrative tasks and trained in these tasks. They will have prime responsibility for these tasks and will work unsupervised within their area of expertise. They will provide advice and guidance to all other staff on matters relating to their areas of expertise.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25-30 per week
Salary: From £10.42 per hour

- Medical Secretaries & Receptionists: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 2 years (required)
