JOB PURPOSE


As a Receptionist with Burberry, you will be the face of our business and responsible for welcoming all visitors to our global headquarters based in London – the iconic Horseferry House. Playing a truly important part of the Burberry Experience, you will ensure all of our guests and colleagues have a great first impression and that everyone is provided with the highest level of customer service.


This role is offered on a full time, fixed term contract basis for a period of 12 months. Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to be on site at Horseferry House 5 days per week (Mon-Fri) and will require very occasional weekend working.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greeting all guests and providing a professional, timely and courteous welcome to Horseferry House
  • Signing in all visitors and following security processes, issuing passes and providing any information to visitors on the building.
  • Advising hosts of their guests’ arrival in a discreet and timely manner
  • Answering incoming phone calls and directing enquiries to the appropriate department
  • Managing room bookings, facilities requests and ad hoc building requests

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Experience within a busy reception environment, or within a customer-facing role delivering a high quality and personal service
  • A good knowledge of Office 365
  • Administration skills
  • Experience of dealing with high profile/VIP guests, clients or customers
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
  • An exceptional eye for detail and standards
  • A deep passion for customer service
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure
