We have grown rapidly in the last five years from a single practice in New Malden to a team of over 100 people dedicated to giving patients the very best of care across our four sites in New Malden, Richmond, Wimbledon and Hinchley Wood.
Groves Health continues to see steady growth in the services we provide, and we currently have an opportunity for a Reception Team Leader to join our team in Groves Vineyard Surgery, Wimbledon SW19 7JL.
Are you an experienced Team Leader or someone with transferrable skills who is good with people and can balance a varying workload? The Reception teams across Groves Health are the lynchpin of our business and support the Group to provide a first class service to our patients and the wider community.
- Overseeing the administration and support operations of the practice, ensuring the reception/admin team achieve their primary responsibilities
- Maintain the safeguarding register
- Acting as a focal point for the practice, managing requests from external organisations such as the local police, solicitors, DVLA and other agencies
- Co-ordinate with the Site Manager the provision of administrative staff, ensuring that sufficient cover is provided for periods of leave and other staff absences
- Providing initial guidance and advice to patients who wish to verbally complain
- Assist with QOF targets
- Booking telephone appointments with patients
- Managing the incoming email inbox and patient requests
- Responding to patient queries via the Practice website dashboard
- Greeting patients when they arrive in the Practice and dealing with queries
- Calling patients on behalf of GP's to book appointments and relay information
- Managing incoming mail and distributing/scanning accordingly
- Working with outside agencies such as Pharmacies and Care homes for patient care
- Registering new patients
- Using Practice software such as EMIS, Docman (training provided) and Office products
The candidate we are looking for:-
- Confident and personable individual with the skill set to liaise with a diverse range of patients and colleagues
- Good written and verbal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work within a busy environment with varying business need
- Skilled in workload management
- Excellent customer service skills with the patience to listen and find resolution
- Conscientious of the work we do and the community we serve
