Reception Team at Therapy and Coaching centre - The Harlow, Cardale Park - www.theharlow.co.uk
The Harlow is a new Therapy and Coaching centre close to Harrogate town centre. We have 11 therapy rooms, which include 2 child and family friendly specialist rooms, larger therapy rooms appropriate for group sessions and a training room for Coaching sessions and Seminars.
Our opening hours at The Harlow are 8am-9pm Monday to Friday and Saturday Mornings. We have two receptionists already and are now looking to cover the following times, we may possibly be able to tweak these, but the times we are looking to cover are around other shifts currently.
Mon - Tues - 1 or 2pm - 8 or 9pm
Wednesday -Day Off
Thursday - 8am - 9pm
Friday - 12:30pm - 5pm
Saturday mornings alternative 9 or 10 am - 12 or 1pm
We are a dedicated, experienced and ethical team of Therapists and Coaches whose mission is to support our clients through periods of challenge and change.
With this in mind, we are looking to expand our existing reception team, whose primary role will be to meet and greet clients, making them feel welcome. An interest or any experience in wellbeing, psychology, counselling or coaching we think would be of benefit.
The key duties of the role will include:
- Arrange and confirm counselling and therapy appointments with clients over the phone, in person and through email.
- Work with and support a Multidisciplinary Therapeutic and Coaching team.
- Book Coaching clients on to courses and respond to enquiries about Coaching Sessions, Courses and Events.
- Assist in the day-to-day administration of Therapy and Coaching services.
- Record and respond to cancellations from clients, contacting and informing others that it effects.
- Work efficiently to support the smooth running of the services offered with an understanding of confidentiality, and the therapeutic environment.
- Ensure the Therapy rooms, Training room and Client Waiting Area are always presentable and welcoming.
- Open and close the centre, as necessary.
As a Receptionist at The Harlow, we would like you to feel included in the wider team and would expect you to work with colleagues in the following ways:
- Work with the Clinical Director to identify and ensure any urgent client needs are addressed as soon as possible.
- Work with Managing Partners, Operations Director and Coaches on any projects they may need assistance on.
- Work with the Director of Clinical Governance to ensure all safeguarding, training and procedures are adhered to.
- Report into the Operations Director and have daily communication about the smooth running of the centre, ensuring the clients and practitioners are always comfortable with plans for the day.

- Be flexible, being able to work extra shifts as overtime for holiday and sickness cover where required.
