As a Reception Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily running of the Ritz London Hotel Reception. This includes ensuring receptionists are reaching the required standards and running the shift while on duty and that daily reception duties are completed in a timely manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring guests have a smooth and seamless check-in and check-out process, from preparing the next day arrivals, to checking that all guest details are up to date and correct and allocating rooms based on guest preference and needs, and handling all enquiries and complaints. Switchboard duties are also paramount to this role and you must ensure all calls are dealt with exceptional telephone etiquette. Our Front Office Receptionists and Front Office Supervisors are encouraged to up-sell rooms and cross sell to our Food & Beverage Outlets.
Entry Requirements:
- Hotel / Front Office experience is essential
- Fluent command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Excellent customer service skills
- Enthusiasm in delivering service to guests
- Possess the ability to work under pressure with strong organisational skills
- Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
