The Ebrington Hotel & Spa is a unique luxury venue due to open June 2023 and is situated in the heart of the city overlooking the River Foyle. We understand the key to delivering exceptional quality of service comes from building a team of passionate professionals with a guest-focused attitude.

The Ebrington Hotel is now seeking to recruit Reception Staff for their premises, Ebrington Square, Derry-Londonderry:

Reception Staff– Job Details

Contract: Full Time Permanent

Start date: TBC

Salary: Competitive

Hours of work: 40 hours per week

Main Duties and Responsibilities

· Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and efficient manner.

· Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner.

· Answer phone calls and respond to emails, messages, and other guest inquiries in a courteous and helpful manner.

· Manage reservations and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

· Process payments, including cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment, and balance daily cash receipts.

· Maintain a clean and tidy front desk area and lobby, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.

· Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure a smooth and efficient guest experience.

· Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Essential Criteria

· Previous experience in a reception role or similar.

· Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members.

· Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.

· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Desirable Criteria

· Background in a busy hotel environment
