Job description
We are looking for 2 x 18 hours Reception/Clerks. The post holders will provide an efficient front of house service predominantly out of office hours and on weekends supporting all members of staff working within the Mental Health Department at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital Mental Health Unit.
- Answer the telephone, deal with queries relevant to the service and/or take accurate messages.
- Meet and greet Visitors, Staff and members of the general public with professionalism and curtesy at all times.
- Receive, open, sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail on a daily basis.
- Use computerised system to book appointments and complete associated processes.
- Use Room Booking system to book meetings.
- Process and update all relevant documentation where appropriate, using manual and computerised systems.
- To undertake data entry as required, logging all admissions, discharges and periods of leave onto the WPAS (Myrddin) System within agreed timescales.
- Ensure all patients’ personal details are correct at point of admission and discharge from the ward.
