Job Title: Real Estate/Alternatives Fund Accountant
Contract Type: Permanent

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

We are currently looking for a Real Estate/Alternatives Fund Accountant to join Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) in our Fund Accounting Oversight Team. You will have a key focus on Property, taking responsibility for the supervision, monitoring and sign-off of fund accounting reports and controls with key oversight of outsourced real estate fund accounting activities in relation to Property portfolios both for RLAM and Royal London Group.
The Fund Accounting Oversight team play a crucial role in overseeing fund accounting activities at the outsourced suppliers. It acts as main point of contact within RLAM for real estate fund accounting technical queries and provides key support for new product launches and other projects.
About the role
The role provides support to the Alternatives Fund Accounting Manager
Oversees Property Funds NAV calculations
Assist in the production of funds’ report and accounts and involvement in the annual audit
Assist in the supervision of outsourced providers (external administrators and managing agents)
Maintain records relating to Royal London Group private equity investments
Manage multiple stakeholder relationships (both internal and external)
About you
Qualified accountant (preferred) or training for qualifications
Relevant fund accounting experience, preferably gained from an asset management environment or outsourced provider environment
Experience in overseeing third parties advantageous
Strong numerical skills
Good interpersonal skills, as broad exposure to internal management, auditors, trustee and administrators.
