Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in Ramp ideal as is experience working with heavy/operational machinery
- Ability to carry out both system supported and manual loading/unloading of bags
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Full UK driving license required – minimum 1 years driving experience preferable
- Safety driven with the ability to maintain a safe and secure working environment
- Pre-employment checks - ability to achieve successful completion of the referencing (checkable 5 year employment/education history) and criminal record check procedures to meet dnata and CAA security regulations, and a satisfactory medical report.
Job Summary:
The role involves manually loading cargo, baggage, and mail on aircraft and assisting with aircraft towing and pushback operations. The role holder will operate aircraft in-plane loading systems and interact closely with 3rd party customers and suppliers to ensure safe, efficient and on-time flight turnarounds. You will maintain good house-keeping practices, and ensure a safe and secure working area in line with CAA, DfT, and Company operating procedures and processes.
Hours of work:
- 40 hours per week
- The main roster pattern is a ‘6 days on, 3 days off’ pattern with a mixture of early and late shifts with the earliest start time expected to be from 04:00 and the latest finish time is expected to be up to 23:00 approximately. On an all lates roster, it is expected you would be required to work between 13:30 and 23:00 approximately. Some flexibility will be required
Salary:
- Starting salary £29,108 rising to £31,857 per annum, inclusive of basic pay, allowances, and benefits
