Worley is currently recruiting for a Rail Loading Operative on a Permanent position.
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our operations team on the Phillips 66
Key aims and objectives:
- Provide Safe and Efficient Rail Loading facility Operations.
Role Requirements:
Shunting- Driving of Loco’s (includes prestart checks of Loco’s).
- Checking of Rail cars prior to loading (security seals and fitness for loading).
- Accept and deliver on the facility shift handovers (including completion and signing of shift log’s).
- Start of shift planning discussion with shift team.
- General plant and equipment operating duties as laid down in the operating manuals and training folders.
- Adherence to Refinery Safety, environmental procedures and policies.
- Compliance to Worley and Client site specific Golden Rules for safe operating and maintenance.
- To be a part of the Site Emergency Response Team and maintain required competency levels once fully trained.
- Carry out minor maintenance tasks as required following competency training and assessment.
- Attend any operating related courses as requested by Company to gain the required competency levels (i.e. Permit to Work, Safe Isolation, Loco courses).
- Perform safe isolation of plant and equipment for intervention needs SIOPE.
- Participate in any Emergency Exercises with shift teams as required.
All candidates should hold the following Qualifications & certification:
Desirable: Knowledge and experience of Petro Chemical and Refinery Operations would be an advantage
Ideally, candidates will also have the following experience:
- Previous operations experience, preferably in a rail/road loading and or a background in a Mechanical discipline in a top tier COMAH environment
- Good Reliable, Punctual, willing to learn and safety conscious individual with a commitment and willingness to follow and enforce strict and mandatory procedures
- Able to communicate clearly verbally and computer literate
