Radiographers – Band 5 – Cambridge University Hospital
Cpl Healthcare in partnership with Cambridge University Hospital are currently recruiting for Radiographers, Band 5 permanent positions.
These excellent opportunities will involve working across the general X-Ray department and will include a well-structured 4-month induction period as well as a dedicated preceptorship for a 12-month period to ensure you receive excellent training and development.
These positions also offer further training and development and advancement to work in specialist modalities as well as an excellent on-boarding package including flights, accommodation and relocation expenses.
We are looking to speak with qualified diagnostic radiographers with experience in general X-ray, theatre, emergency department (trauma) an inpatients, we will also be happy to speak with new graduates.
Cambridge University Hospitals is one of the largest and best-known trusts in the country. They deliver care through Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie hospitals.
They are also a leading national centre for specialist treatment, a government-designated comprehensive biomedical research centre, one of only five academic health science centres in the UK and a university teaching hospital with a worldwide reputation.
The radiology department performs over 172,000 X-ray examinations a year across plain film imaging areas and has been fully digital since 2005 and is a show site for GE.
There is a team of over 60 Radiographers and Assistant Practitioners within the general imaging team, this includes a team of Advanced Practice Radiographers in MSK reporting, chest and abdominal reporting, bariums swallows, hysterosalpingograms and lithotripsy.
The general imaging department provides a 24/7 service with an out-of-hours shift system.
Interested candidates must have:
- A recognised qualification in diagnostic radiography
- Current or recent experience in a diagnostic radiographer department of an acute hospital with experience in theatre, emergency department (trauma) and inpatients is desirable, we will also consider applicants with relevant placement experience
- Registration with or eligible for registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) in the UK
- Excellent level of English is required.
