Are you looking for the opportunity to work for a prestigious and award-winning race company to progress your career? We are searching for a Racing Administrator to join our team on a permanent contract based in the heart of Chester.
This role will immerse you in the world of horseracing, providing administrative and operational support to our racing functions for fixtures at Chester and Bangor-on-Dee racecourses.

The successful Racing Administrator will be responsible for:*

  • Provide administrative and operational assistance to the racing team before, during and post racing
  • Co-ordinate and support raceday teams, as well as stable and stable staff requirements for racedays
  • Oversee casual personnel, deliver briefings and arrange work schedules
  • Oversee the set up of the Weighing Room and associated racing areas to ensure they are prepared and are compliant
  • Liaise and develop relationships with key racing stakeholders
  • Acting as a point of contact on racedays and resolving issues
  • Correlation and maintenance of records and data

The successful Racing Administrator will have the following:

  • Experience of working within the racing industry is mandatory
  • An understanding of the structure of the racing industry and event organisation
  • Good organisational, planning and administrative skills
  • Excellent level of communication both verbal and written
  • Leadership skills

Salary: *£25,000-30,000 per annum DOE and industry knowledge
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week plus Chester and Bangor on Dee race meetings
