R&D Project Manager
Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire

As a R&D Senior Associate, Project Manager you will plan and manage multiple projects within the R&D Health portfolio. The role requires stakeholder engagement from all functions within the organisation (i.e., R&D Operations, Global Regulatory, Supply) to ensure that projects are delivered on time and the team benefits from best practice, excellent communication, and collaboration across multiple business units.
You’ll succeed because…
…you’ve led research and development projects to high standards before within Healthcare or a FMCG and you:
- Have a passion for project management and for advancing your knowledge & skills within a scientific or technical back ground
- Love to manage and develop direct reports
- Can effectively run and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously
- Have a passion for driving best practice and value adding changes
- Have experience in managing portfolios of projects, ensuring resource is phased appropriately and KPI’s are tracked and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Can direct a team to manage project scope changes and proactively drive down risks
- Are a great communicator 360 and can effectively manage stakeholder updates for your portfolio and projects
- Can manage project resource and budget across the cross-functional team, raising issues where needed to get things done
- Are adept at dealing with conflict across a multifunctional team whilst simultaneously maintaining strong working relationships.
