Job description
There are two roles available within a busy HR environment, one sitting in Lifecycle supporting the Projects Officer -Pay, Recruitment and Retention and the other in Business Development supporting the HR Systems and Data Manager, and will have support from two managers that have previously supported apprentices into substantive roles.
The Quickstart initiative will provide paid job placements for 18-24 year olds based in the Vale of Glamorgan. The aim is to provide young people with essential employment skills to enhance their future employment prospects
About the role
The Business Support Assistant role is varied, and no two days will be the same; you will have the opportunity to learn new skills, new computer systems and new processes, whilst being supported by a team and given regular development opportunities.
This role will predominantly be based from home, so a suitable broadband connection is essential, as is the ability to work with limited supervision but plenty of support.
Working hours
25 hrs per week (pattern to be determined at appointment) at National Living wage
Location – Remote (Home based)
Contract – Temporary (6 months)

- Able to communicate and to present information clearly and concisely both verbal and written with a good attention to detail.
