We have developed a wealth of proprietary data and your role is to unlock unique insights from this. Our data-driven insight pieces (example: click here) are highly valued by the investment ecosystem and are an instrumental element in our journey to become the thought leader in our industry. For that reason, we want to double down on them to support our future revenue growth. Given this strategic importance of the role you will work directly together with the VP of Operations, Philip de Vusser, as well as the Co-CEO, Frister Haveman.
What will you be responsible for?
- Storylining and ideation: generate and structure research ideas on the most pressing issues of our client base with a focus on opportunities and growth in the private markets
- Data analysis: utilize quantitative methods to extract meaningful insights from our databases
- Synthesis of insights: translate your data analysis work into thought leadership pieces
- Clear data visualization: develop and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Cross-functional collaboration: work with cross-functional teams to define research objectives, develop analytical frameworks, and execute research projects effectively
- Product enhancement: collaborate with the product and engineering teams to integrate research findings into the platform and enhance its functionality
- External and internal presentation of insights: present research findings, insights, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders through presentations, reports, and other communication channels
Who are you?
- Educational background: a masters degree in a quantitative field such as Econometrics, Statistics, Economics or adjacent fields
- Professional background: at least 3 years of experience in (equity) research, quantitative research, consulting or a similar role. Experience in the private markets (PE/M&A) is a plus
- Technical skill-set: Interest in data analytics techniques such as SQL, along with experience using statistical packages and data analysis tools. Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques to effectively communicate complex findings
- Excellent communication & attention to detail: strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality research outputs. Confidence to contribute own ideas and topics
