Job Summary
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the global Lactalis Group. Working within the busy Quality department, you will be responsible for product sampling & testing within a framework of the site’s Food Safety Quality Management (FSQM) system. You will be working in areas where immaculate hygiene standards are essential.

Your Tasks
Your duties will be based in the main process control lab and include finished product testing (viscosity & sensory), on-line checks (weights, packaging, seal & metal detection checks), accelerated shelf life testing, factory swabbing and water & effluent testing. Ensure finished product complies to standard and quality.
Skills we need
The ideal candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, have a flexible approach and meticulous attention to detail. They need to be efficient, independent and work well within a team and be able to work under pressure. Additionally, the post holder will need to be competent in the use of computers for data entry. Flexibility is required in hours and days of work to cover business needs.
Experience of working within a similar role, or food manufacturing facility would be advantageous, although not essential.
Salary and Incentives
