Role Overview To lead quality inspections and final acceptance testing for operations. This will include, goods receipt, in build and final assembly operations. Provide input and direction into quality inspection plans including control plans and final acceptance tests. Complete, approve and issue test and inspection reports. To use metrology equipment such as CMM, FARO Arm plus radiation measurement and production validation test apparatus. Responsibilities: Perform goods inwards inspection, test and validation on material and parts (either onsite or at supplier premises). Perform RTT in-process inspection, test and validation, including Radiation Surveys and Software loaded checks. Perform RTT final verification and validation inspection and testing (IVT), including Packing checks. Complete Quality reports and checking data prior to approval and release of final product. Conduct internal auditing in line with the audit program. Ensure that non-conforming product (internal and external rejections) is correctly identified and advise in MRB on disposition and further action. Maintain inspection and test data across local Quality system records. Write inspection / test reports including data presentation and analysis to the wider Quality team and community as required. Maintain and improve calibration processes and management of calibrated items via the calibration master. Assisting the Quality Manager in the CCB and supporting the management and resolution of relevant Implementation Actions, Supplier Concessions and Production Permits. Assist the Quality Manager in corrective action approach, including containment, root cause investigation, corrective action, and verification steps. Produce and provide inputs into inspection and control plans. Qualifications: Must have a positive proactive attitude to work, be self motivated, and have good literacy, numeracy, and communication skills. Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or Technician in an electromechanical manufacturing environment. Understanding of the ISO9001 quality standard would be an advantage. Experience with CMM, FARO Arm and general measuring equipment. Following test procedures to verify final equipment release Proficient at interpreting Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Drawings. IT skills able to use Office365 applications competently. MRP and ERP systems experience, D365 would be advantageous. Quality experience with MRB (also known as COPQ), Non-Conforming product, inspection methods and data collection.
