£32,000, BS16, Permanent role, 40 hours a week Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm flexible start & finish times, 1 hour for lunch, pension, 28 days holiday increasing with service, free Parking.

This quality Coordinator, quality controller, quality assurance role is working for an established and friendly FMCG manufacturer (non food production) and the position will be an intergral part of the team reporting to the logistics and supply chain manager.

The quality Coordinator, quality controller, quality assurance key responsibilities

Co-coordinating the companies Quality Management System.
Inspections of incoming raw materials.
Confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; using CRM to raise non-conformances when required.
In-process production quality inspections
Confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; ensuring documents are completed correctly; communicating required adjustments to the Production team.
In-process production yield tests / waste control.
Liaising with 3rd party provider to maintain measurement equipment calibration schedule.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
Maintaining and updating quality documentation with to BRC quality standard.
Assisting with non-conformance investigations and liaising directly with customers and suppliers updating the CRM system.
Updating non-conformance data and KPIs.
Chairing the monthly Quality Meetings.
Internal auditing (inc. Weekly Hygiene and Housekeeping Audits)

The quality Coordinator, quality controller, quality assurance will require previous experience of working in production or manufacturing environments in a quality role but transferable skills from most production or manufacturing environments would be suitable. Experience with or food related packaging or food production (there is no food on site) would be of interest but not necessary for the role.

Any qualifications in quality and or production related areas that would support this role are beneficial but not essential and candidates with a track record in quality roles within most areas of production would be suitable for this position. Experience with quality systems like ISO or BS or BRC quality standards will be suitable.

The company are an established manufacturer based in Bristol and this role will offer autonomy and responsibility to be an integral part of the team.
