QUALITY MANAGER

NORWICH

PROJECT

We are one of the Delivery Integration Partners (DIP) on the Regional Delivery Partnership Framework (RDP) with National Highways and have been awarded multiple schemes along the A47 running from Peterborough to Norfolk with a combined construction value of over £250m.

Our Blofield to North Burlingham scheme has recently been approved by the Secretary of State. Work will soon start to construct a new dual carriageway on this 4km stretch of road and install two new junctions as part of the planned improvements, all delivered in partnership with National Highways and SWECO.

YOUR ROLE

As Quality Manager, you will ensure the project is delivered to the highest of quality standards in line with client and GT expectations and in accordance with our BMS.

You will

  • Participate in creating a “knowingly safe” environment.
  • Implement the Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies and Targets
  • Comply, as appropriate, with the processes contained within the Project Quality systems
  • Suggest and implement necessary improvements to the Project Quality systems
  • Ensure use of the Project document management system
  • Considers the need to satisfy customer requirements with the aim of enhancing the customers’ perception and satisfaction
  • Ensuring that the BMS (HSEQ) complies with the requirements of EN ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.
  • Preparation, issue and maintenance of the BMS
  • Ensure up to date management systems are made available as appropriate at points of use
  • Monitor, review and update procedures as required.
  • Manage the certification process.
  • Assist the team as needed in the improvement of procedures, forms and guidance as needed in delivery.
  • Provide assistance and advice to Site Management and Department Managers on implementation of the processes and data structure
  • Ongoing mentoring of team members on all areas of business management system.
  • Maintain and implement an audit programme to cover ensuring all procedures are audited at least once per year and report on progress against the programme
  • Promote and capture best practice during audits
  • Liaise with external audit or assessment bodies as required
  • Report to Management on the level of compliance with planned arrangements and the effectiveness of the management systems (HSEQ)

If you have a solid experience as a Quality Manager in a project environment and based in the East region then get in touch as I want to hear from you.
