Job description
We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, Quality Manager to join our team in the Haematology department at St George’s Hospital. The post holder will oversee the quality and JACIE accreditation, as well as support the newly developed CAR-T programme.
The successful applicant should have experience in working in a quality management environment with a comprehensive understanding of JACIE accreditation.
The successful applicant will be a highly motivated, resourceful individual with a desire to ensure that a quality management system is implemented, maintained. They will also provide advice to technical staff to ensure the requirements of accreditation are achieved and maintained. The successful applicant will lead staff in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures and method validation. They will also plan, manage, and maintain an audit.
St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust serves a resident population of about 300,000, is located within the Southwest London ICS and serves six local boroughs, primarily Merton and Wandsworth. The Trust is one of the largest healthcare units in the UK, accommodating 1070 beds and annually treating around 61,500 inpatients as well as over 420,000 outpatients. St George’s Hospital is the main teaching hospital in the western sector of the South Thames region and has developed links with most of the regional district general hospitals. It supports a significant training programme for junior doctors that rotate through the Trust.
