Your Role:

In your role as Quality Manager, Supply Chain & Distribution you will be based at our Gillingham site in Dorset, UK and will be responsible for the local management of all aspects of the Quality Management System and GDP requirements, and will be the site representative and owner of the Quality Management and Quality Assurance for distribution operations. You will provide leadership for and be the responsible person for all quality topics at the Gillingham site and will also provide support for related 3rd-party warehouse locations and commercial subsidiaries in UK and Ireland. Your duties will include the implementation and maintenance of the local QMS, ensuring the site is fully compliant to applicable ISO and GDP standards, communicating feedback and information for quality topics to and from the business sector quality organization (LS-Q), participating in or leading regional or global LS-Q projects and initiatives, and managing the audit program for the site.

Who You Are:
  • Degree-level or equivalent qualification in science, quality, regulatory or related subject
  • minimum 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Training in Quality Management and GDP
  • Experience in QA-related tasks, including IS09001 Quality Management System
  • Extensive auditing experience
  • Working knowledge of a distribution operation
  • Working knowledge of trade compliance and legal regulations for import/export
  • Project Management skills
  • Team-building, development & motivational skills
  • Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
