Quality Lead - Salary £40,000 + car allowance + great company benefits, Covering the Southwest Region

This is a new role within the Division so a great opportunity to really add value and business improvement. As Quality Lead you will be reporting to Head of Quality and work to drive Quality and professional standards across the business. The role will be covering a region to include South West, Devon, Somerset and be out in the field 2 to 3 days per week.
This role is varied and requires a “hands on” agile working approach through thorough inspections/Audit of both network build and installation, you will build a reputation for perfection. You will drive Quality standards across the business and report on all findings.
What will the Quality Lead role look like:
· Take the lead on quality and provide advice and support to the regional build teams.
· Collate Business / contract Quality statistics in a timely manner and submit to the Head of Quality.
· Undertake Inspections and Audits across all functions of the business to establish compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards (Ensure compliance of PIA compliance standards and Airband build/installation standards).
· Assist in the preparation of reports and analysis of the quality performance of the business based upon the inspections and audits completed.
· Monitoring and regular review of the of contractor and sub-contractor Quality performance management.
· Highlight areas of strength and best practice in Quality so that other teams may adopt and benefit from them.
· Develop and maintain effective working relationships with managers, supervisors, employees, contractors/sub-contractors, and external resource.
· Undertake investigations of poor quality, identifying the root cause and create action plan to prevent recurrence.
· Ensure Compliance with specified PIA / Airband Principles and standards.
· Monthly QC Checks on Test results and Cabinet documents.
· Be able to audit the Network end to end, as set out in the Airband Principles and PIA Audit standards. Including Cabinet and exchanges, Network build and installation standards.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a professional Telecoms expert with an in depth knowledge of the Fibre business, you may be in a Team Leader role and looking for your next step or a Supervisor or Engineering Auditor.
- Openreach SA01,SA02,S11,S13.
- Experience and understanding of building a telecommunications network.
- Experience in Fiber to the home (FTTH) / telecoms / cabling / knowledge of NRSWA.
- Able to undertake Internal and / or external auditing and inspections.
- Lead Auditor certified to ISO 9001.
- IT Literate.
- Good oral, written and presentation skills.
- Excellent communicator at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK Driving Licence
