Quality & Insight Consultant– Salary National - £30,000-£35,000 / London - £40,000-£53,000
The Quality & Insight Consultant is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for operational excellence, data quality & analysis, continually improving quality processes and in setting strong operational foundations for quality through the creation and delivery of onboarding materials. This role would suit someone who is looking for a challenging but rewarding role that allows them to make a meaningful and tangible impact across both Operations and Underwriting.
You will learn how to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams, be passionate about maintaining high standards of quality in all aspects of the business and enjoy using data analysis to help drive business decisions.
This role requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills and stakeholder management
This will be a hybrid position with bi-weekly travel to Worthing.
A bit about the job:
The Quality & Insight consultant will be responsible for ensuring the Operational Team meet established Quality standards. This role will be integral to building and delivering a Quality Framework, conducting audits, analysing data to generate insight, developing and maintaining quality documentation, training and educating the teams on quality control procedures and collaborating with cross functional teams.
You would also be responsible for continually improving quality processes, helping to design and implement operational performance reporting metrics for a range of audiences; Building out the foundations of operational excellence by creating clear and effective onboarding programmes, supported by a range of training guides and materials, including the creation and maintenance of a Data Dictionary; Helping to define what good data quality looks like and build out a culture and understanding of the impacts of poor data quality (whether that be from Operations or Underwriting).
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Previous experience within a Quality / Risk & Control environment, and/or Change exposure within a relevant industry.
- Prior knowledge of the Insurance OR Financial Services industry is essential.
- Excellent ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders in order to present your findings / outputs clearly, as well as strong written communication to create and maintain a suite of training materials and operating procedures.
- Skilled in problem solving, able to understand the analysis of complex information and its impacts.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure that quality control processes are being followed, documentation is correct and up-to-date, and insights are accurate.
What you’ll get for this role:
- Starting salary between £30,000 and £53,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
