Job description
- Support operations quality needs during proposal & start up phases to include:
- Provide supplier capability inputs for Customer/Program Quality assessment(s)
- Provide supplier quality analysis and past performance quality data in support of proposal/order reviews
- Review Program Quality Plan(s) and ensure supplier compliance to program quality requirements
- Review Program First Article Inspection (FAI)/Advanced Product Quality Plan (APQP) requirements
- Identify/manage supplier quality risks/opportunities
- Support manufacturing quality requirements during execution phase to include:
- Prepare data for supplier quality status/metrics at Operations Management Reviews
- Participate in supplier-related Configuration Control Boards
- Participate in Material Review Boards and manage nonconforming material dispositions for supplied material
- Participate in Supplier Corrective Action Boards
- Conduct assigned supplier audits per the Quality Management System Audit Schedule
- Ensure compliance to Customer/Program specific supplier quality requirements
- Support customer contact for supplier-related quality contractual requirements
- Ensure corrective/preventive actions related to supplier process/product noncompliance’s
- Approve/maintain quality documents in support of supplier quality requirements
- Engage with Supply Chain Management to ensure supplier delivery of quality components/services in support of the Operations build plan.
- Engage as a member of the GIDEP committee and evaluate, generate, and implement supplier specific actions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- May assist in other related departments as required by business needs.
- Able to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification (CQE, CQA, CMQ/OE, CSQP, etc.).
- Clearance: Secret or better (or ability to acquire “Interim” within 180 days) or ability to obtain a clearance with twelve months (as required).
- Familiarity with Government Contracts and ITAR regulations.
Education and Experience:
- Four-year degree or equivalent required.
- Four-plus years of quality experience. Two-plus years of supplier quality experience preferred.
- Experience in quality management system (ISO required, AS preferred).
