LOCATION(S): Edinburgh, Bristol, Halifax, Leeds
HOURS: Full-time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites

Embark joined LBG in January 2022 with its mission to deliver a market leading, modern and self-managed investment offering that can be offered to LBG customers. The first direct to customer investment product was launched late Feb 2023 and is the first of an exciting roadmap of new products and existing product feature enhancements. Embark will also enable LBG to reinvigorate and enhance our intermediary proposition under Scottish Widows and grow this sector alongside the existing Embark white label propositions. Through investment in modern digital technology we will improve advisor experience and make it easier for them to do business with us.
We're looking to recruit a Quality Engineer to play a key role in developing and building our capability in Quality Engineering. You will be responsible for supporting the Lead Quality Engineer on implementing Test Plan and Test Strategy. You will work within a team to support and guide to achieve team objectives and ensure that projects are delivered to the highest quality

What you’ll need:
Wrap Platform testing experience having knowledge on SIPP, ISA, and GIA products.
Experience in testing brokerage back-office investment deal processing including Corporation Actions testing experience.
Experience of a broad range of testing including system, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Strong experience in manual testing, and strong experience of SOAP UI Automation Testing (50/50 split).
CASS Experience
Ability to build mock API responses to speed up test automation runs and trigger various scenarios and responses, using tools such as SOAPUI
Demonstrated experience in administration of solutions based on .NET, HTML/CSS/JavaScript and other web technologies.
Understanding and proficiency in Front End web development through HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript skills including responsive design and graceful degradation techniques.
Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of UX and UI principles and best practices.
Covering multiple user roles, devices, browsers, and operating systems via online tools such as BrowserStack.
