Job description
Sr Quality Engineering Manager
Lead a team as the technical expert for the Honeywell Aerospace Quality Network by applying your expertise and knowledge in finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve quality output and continuous improvements working with Operations, Engineering, ISC Engineering and Sourcing. You will lead the strategic direction and initiatives that ensures compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations and engineering specifications while instilling site accountability for governance of the Quality System, product acceptance, and product quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has primary responsibility to ensure regulatory compliance to various EMEA countries' regulatory requirements, liaison with Top Government officials and with in-region OEM and airlines customers. The individual will also provide quality support to EMEA and Canadian sites, and perform Network Audits of the quality management system. Additional responsibilities include:
Brainstorm solutions for complex problems.
Perform Risk analysis and drive mitigation actions.
Technical, QMS process and procedural mentor.
Project management.
Cost improvement analysis.
Drive technical solutions.
Auditor training.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related technical field
Several years of Quality related experience
Extensive knowledge of AS9100, EMEA, Canadian, and US regulatory requirements
5 years minimum Lead Auditor experience

Demonstrated customer relations experience
Significant experience in quality engineering
Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt
Demonstrated mastery of project management
Out of box thinking
Successful understanding of RCCA, CAMP processes, and IPDS
Expert in Quality Systems
Travel in this role estimated to be up to 50%
