We are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to work on a specialist project based on-site at a prestigious automotive manufacturer in Crewe.
On an initial 6 month contract, with strong potential for ongoing work, the Quality Engineer will be responsible for supporting both build and supplier activities. The role is fast paced and constantly changing, so we require someone who is resilient, adaptable and confident in their ability.
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Management of new part introduction
- Develop part sign off standards for supplier & plant
- Inspection/buy off of parts prior to build
- Daily build support of projects to ensure rapid resolution of quality issues
- Resolution of quality issues
- National/International (EU) travel to support production and suppliers
The ideal candidate must be highly dynamic, resilient and rigorous in their approach as the project doesn't always have the standards, drawings and automotive supplier base of normal, mainstream projects. The pace is also a faster paced than most, so you must be adaptable and confident in your ability.
You will be required on site at all times, with the exception of supplier visits. Therefore you must be comfortable commuting to Crewe on a daily basis and happy to travel internationally (Mainly to Germany)
£30.00 - £35.00 per hour – Outside IR35
