Job description
Eco Personnel (UK) ltd are currently looking to recruit Senior Quality Engineer for our client based in South Normanton. The purpose of this role is to manage and investigate all Internal Quality concerns.
Salary: up to £45k dependent on experience
Hours: 8.00 – 17:00, Monday – Friday
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all internal complaints linked to Quality
Responsible for Not – RFT Quality KPI from samples brought to the QA lab.
Manage a turnaround of all internal complaints within 20 working days.
Lead and support Operations using problem solving tools (Ishikawa, 5 whys, Is/is not etc)
Ensuring compliance with the organisations Health, Safety and Environment objectives.
Formal confirmation all countermeasures are implemented and affective
Set up and report out KPI’s for the area with Improvement Plans
Attend the daily QA leadership meetings.
Lead Internal Quality follow up visits or meetings on or off site
Critique of formal reports.
Responsible for Live PFMEA updates as and when required
Carry out internal ISO 9000-1 audits as and when required
Required Knowledge/Skills:
Minimum 5 Years’ Experience working as a Senior Quality Engineer in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with multiple process’s.
Understanding of Safety critical product characteristics.
ISO 9000-1 Certified Auditor
Computer skills – MS Office etc
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to prioritise to meet customer requirements.
Meticulous record keeping and attention to detail.
Excellent communicator and motivator at all levels
Experience Managing and mentoring a team.
Proven record of planning and implementing improvements within a Team
