Job description
Carrying out various manufacturing tasks within the production assembly cell after receiving training and instruction to specific customers and company standards. Responsible for ensuring the products produced meet the highest quality and are packaged correctly. 5S and continuous improvement are also an integral part of this role. This role involves physical movement along with repeated bending and stretching.
Key Responsibilities
- To check the quality of parts received in line with WHS working procedures.
- To carry out any assembly work required on the plastic/painted parts in line with WHS working procedures.
- To pack the mouldings in the correct boxes or stillage’s in line with WHS working procedures.
- To ensure the correct product identification is applied to both the product and its container
- To ensure all parts are produced in line with and meet the customer standards
- To adhere to all processes provided/instructed on the work element sheet.
- To possess the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardised work in a continuous improvement environment.
- To meet production output targets set by the team.
- To maintain a clean working environment
- To Demonstrate practical ability, self-motivation, be a team player with excellent attendance and punctuality
- To be able to identify potential improvements within the area of working and report them to the line manager.
- To support Quality Engineers in the resolution of internal and customer issues.
- To support team-based problem-solving activities.
- To ensure all WHS standards are followed by all team members

Successful applicants will be required to spend 2 weeks training in Swansea during May/June 2023
