Rectella International Ltd are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, passionate and hardworking Quality Administrator to join our team based in Burnley.
The job holder will be required to work with a team of people who ensure improvement & compliance with Quality & Product Standards / Safety daily. The role demands enthusiasm for improving & maintaining high standards of quality & manufacturing processes, along with control of documents. Promoting a quality culture throughout the business.
As a self-motivated individual with a desire to learn, the successful candidate will have a genuine interest in Quality and should be able to demonstrate their knowledge and troubleshooting skills. The ability to communicate effectively, in writing and verbally, with all levels of the organisation is essential.
Key Tasks:
· Testing & reporting of current & new products - being able to contribute to New Product Development.
· Liaising with Technical Manager, Technical Administrator & all other internal departments to provide effective control within the quality department.
· Improve performance in processes, decreasing any waste & promote the value of time.
· Data Analysis / Traceability.
· Complaints handling for consumers.
· Willing to undertake training for Valpak & Packaging Waste control.
· Creating & maintaining product appraisals.
· Creating & maintaining specifications & stock information sheets, inputting them into the Syspro system.
· Creating & maintaining customer technical files.
· Supplier vetting & controls (Defects / Complaints).
· Supplier communication.
Desired qualities, skills & knowledge:
· Good communication skills both verbal and written
· Good telephone manner and admin skills
· Knowledge of product safety and quality controls
· Willingness to learn
· Team player
· A methodical and logical troubleshooting mindset
· GCSE or equivalent qualification or work experience.
