Quality Assurance Technologist
In our busy food processing plant, our Quality Assurance Technologists ensure company and customer quality standards are being met, to ensure that our products are produced to the highest quality.
Duties will include:
- Be responsible for driving food safety and quality standards.
- Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
- Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
- Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities
- Traceability/production paperwork audits
- Paperwork checking / controlling / filing
- Label checks
- Temperature checks
- Temperature probes and scales calibrations
- CCP checks
- Hygiene checks
- Knife / blade audits
- Glass/hard plastic factory audits
- Other day to day quality assurance function for the site
Skills and experience:
- Good Excel and Word skills
- Good communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Experienced in food manufacturing desirable but not essential.
You don’t need any formal qualifications to pursue this job role, but we do value individuals who have basic numeracy and English literacy skills.

Shifts available: Monday to Friday 40hrs per week
Salary & Benefits: From£25,792 per annum and 32 days holiday per annum (inclusive of bank/public holidays), pro rata for incomplete years of service.
