Job description
The Company has an opportunity for an experienced QA Technician to join the team in our Birmingham Office. To assure the consistent quality of incoming goods, ensuring procedures and specifications are followed. Encouraging and developing GMP across all areas.
The role is offered on a full-time permanent basis hours between Monday – Friday 7am – 15:30pm.
Key accountabilities:
· Inspection of incoming goods
· Technical testing as required
· Approval of product samples
· Assisting in improvements to the QMS
· Handling of all complaints / non-conformance investigations
· Completion of all specifications
· Control of FSC artwork
· Completion of customer requests as applicable
· Liaising with suppliers and colleagues
· Recording of results and report writing
· Use of Quick Base and standard computer packages
Essential Experience / Special requirements:
· Experience in SAP and Quickbase would be an advantage
· The ability to plan and prioritise workload
· Experience of retail specifications
Technical / Functional skills:
· The ability to communicate effectively
· To be accurate and detailed
· Experience of Word and Excel
· The ability to work alone but also to be a team player
· Quality Goods In inspections
· Understanding of BRC Packaging requirements
· Working against procedures and specifications
