We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in ensuring the exceptional quality of our Pilot Training learning materials. The ideal candidate will be responsible for upholding quality and process standards, conducting thorough reviews of training products, engaging in proofreading and copywriting tasks, and overseeing the adherence of the development team to established quality processes. The Quality Assurance Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our training content and ensuring its readiness for deployment to our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes for Pilot Training learning materials, ensuring alignment with established standards and guidelines.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of training products, assessing accuracy, consistency, and overall quality.
- Engage in proofreading and copywriting tasks to refine content for clarity, coherence, and grammatical correctness.
- Collaborate closely with the development team, guiding and overseeing their adherence to the defined quality processes.
- Review and approve edits, enhancements, and updates made to training materials, ensuring they meet quality benchmarks.
- Facilitate effective communication between content creators, developers, and stakeholders to address quality-related concerns.
- Perform regular audits to identify areas for process improvement and recommend enhancements to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Maintain detailed documentation of quality processes, review findings, and improvement recommendations.
- Provide final sign-off for Pilot Training learning materials before they are deployed to customers, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Minimum of two years of experience in quality assurance, content review, or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, content review, copywriting, or a related role.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional proofreading and copywriting skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement quality assurance processes and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Proficiency in reviewing and assessing content for accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and methodologies.
- Knowledge of industry-standard proofreading and copywriting practices.
- Familiarity with tracking and documenting issues, discrepancies, and improvement suggestions.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to upholding high-quality standards.
- Preferred skills in Instructional Design, leveraging effective learning methodologies.
- Familiarity with aviation or pilot training content is a strong advantage.
Relocation:

Work Schedule:
This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule with the ability to work from home. Onsite work hours to be determined by the hiring manager.
