Position Overview
The Appriss Retail Platform Engineering team is looking for an experienced, hands-on, and enthusiastic Quality Assurance professional to help ensure the quality of our service, application features, issue remediation, and site reliability. Quality Assurance professional Should be required to help Appriss Retail’s DevOps team to ensure that the quality of our service, application features, issue remediation, and deployments support site reliability. The candidate is an enthusiastic and reliable professional. This role will report to the Quality Assurance Manager.
Responsibilities
- Refactoring and developing code for tests within our automation framework.
- Assessing requirements and ensuring that these are met.
- Identifying problems/defects in the product by manually testing, reviewing failed automated tests, or exploratory functions within the system
- By optimizing the testing processes with continuous improvements and adding proper test documentation for the team
- Raising, checking, and managing work item lifecycle
- Liaise with DevOps (Development, Delivery, Support) and users to ensure issues are clearly documented, tested fully, and resolved effectively.
Technology
- Web-based product written in asp.net C#, React/Angular JS
- Over a thousand selenium web driver tests in C#
- Over three-thousand-unit tests in C#
- Containerised Windows backend with IIS, Windows Server, and SQL Server
- Azure DevOps
Skills & Requirements
- Confident & clear communicator, written & verbal. First-class interpersonal skills.
- Desire to find the root cause of issues with a good understanding of testing principles, SDLC and Agile Scrum.
- Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables and capable of multi-tasking.
- Experience in technology with hands-on technical skills using C#, .Net, Selenium, Cypress, SpecFlow, BDD & other UI Testing frameworks, VS Pro/Code, API Testing, Performance Testing, & Azure DevOps.
- Ambition to learn, progress, and be innovative.
- Passion to produce quality through their work and customer-focused on results.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience between 2-3 years
- ISTQB Certification
- Graduate in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field
