We have award winning social care and wellbeing services and some areas that need improvement and will enable you to make a real difference at a time of change. The Council is making significant investment to strengthen capacity within our Social Services and Wellbeing Directorate, so with the new positions, in addition to an existing vacancy, mean we have great career prospects for experienced and outcome focussed public services. Some posts require experienced social workers, others require a background in public service delivery. All require a strong value base, which puts the people and communities we work with at the heart of everything you do, and a commitment to quality, teamwork and a ‘can do’ approach.
