We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our Highways team based in Shrewsbury. This is a Highways maintenance contract delivering works under Shropshire Council. The Business Assurance department manage Quality Assurance/Quality Control, communications and training throughout guiding the project on compliance requirements. Contract: Permanent, Full time
Salary: Up to £27k + 26 days of annual leave + Benefits
Responsibilities
As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you’ll support on compliance requirements, communications and being lead on Information Management, assist in improvement projects, as well as enhancing collaborative business relationships. This is predominantly an office-based role primarily at Shrewsbury with occasional working from our Oswestry and Craven Arms depots.
Your day to day will include:
- Administrating through SharePoint skills our integrated Management system to provide current applicable governance to all users.
- Collate and manage Quality, performance and business assurance related data including identification of areas for improvement and for generation of regular reports.
- Analysis and trending of data and Information for efficiency and compliance gains.
- Promoting “right first time” culture by leading on information management and awareness of compliance needs
- Keeping our customers informed and staff competent by assisting business assurance activities including Communications and Training in support
Who are we looking for?
This role of Quality Assurance Coordinator is great for you if you have:
- Understanding of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 management system standards and Document/records management experience
- Experience in the use of Microsoft packages including SharePoint use
- High attention to detail, good analytical skills (finding patterns in data) and time management skills
