We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker, Assessment and Intervention Team within the Social Care Industry in East Riding of Yorkshire. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their staffing levels. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary Early Help and Safeguarding Hub to undertake decision making and provide the first response to initial enquiries and expressions of concern. Responsibilities include; To respond to queries and referrals from a number of different sources Undertake Initial Visits to families and conduct risk assessments. To investigate any concerns of neglect through Section 47 Investigations Work on Duty where necessary - often screening all incoming calls To work with children and their families in ensuring the family unit remains together where possible To be successful: For this Qualified Social Worker, Assessment and Intervention you will need to be HCPC Registered and educated to Degree Level IE: DIPSW, BA Hons, BSc SW, master's SW. The client requests that successful candidate will have previous experience working within a Care Management Team within in the UK. You must have the Eligibility to Work in the UK.
